Thoughts from my 22 year-old self that I stand by

I was searching my tumblr (I send all my posts here there, which I find funny right now) for the 365q project by Julian Bialowas and I found this post.  I stand by the train of thoughts I had in August of 2012 as much now as I imagine I did then.

It’s all gonna be okay.
Organization is terribly underrated by far too many people.
Music is nothing shy of extraordinarily powerful.
Friends are always precious.
Nothing beats great communication (in all capacities).
Flexibility is crucial.
Figure out the difference between productivity and busyness.
Have someone to look up to and get advice from.  Preferably someone who has been in your place before.
Don’t be afraid to ask.
Fight for what you want.
It’s all gonna be okay.
Respect yourself.
Indulge once in a while.  But remember you only have one body.
Search for the bright side of things.  It’s not always easy, but it gets easier the more you do it.
It’s not how good you are - it’s how bad you want it.
It’s also how well you sell what you do.
People make more sense when you know where they’re coming from.
Life is weird.  Get used to it.
Things change.
People change.
And that’s okay.
Because it’s all gonna be okay.
