Adaptability and Musicians

This is for the 19th, which I missed because Canary had a show in Maine, which I will talk about.

For January 19, 2013

Canary played a great show at Run of the Mill in Saco, Maine on the 19th.  We’re in the market for a new drummer (more later) so we had our friend and original drummer Cole Bingham fill in.  I gotta say it was cool.  It’s fun to see the difference in drummers and it was an easy fit.

I was talking with a friend about this.  He was saying how amazing it is that we musicians can work with each other so well.  I agreed.  We experienced it with Cole a bit and I had forgotten how cool and fun it is.

I’ll admit that I prefer to not have a revolving door of musicians, but right now that’s what we have.  So I’ll make the best of it, and hopefully someone who comes through that revolving door in the near future wants to stay inside for a while.

That being said, if you are or if you know anyone who is a drummer in the Boston area, hit me up - amy.mantis@gmail.com
