School is back in session

The fall semester began a few weeks ago and is in full swing. I feel like I have both more work and less work than I did last year. A lot of it is ongoing project stuff that won’t be done until well into November. So while very few things have a quick-turnaround, many things require consistent time and attention.

Writing songs

If I had to pick just one thing to be, I’d pick being a songwriter. I haven’t been writing as much as I would like to, and I’ve missed it. Writing songs is a core part of who I am and I know I’m a better person when I’ve been writing. So it’s as much a benefit to you as it is to me that I resume my songwriting ways.

Slowly working on my YouTube channel

School. School is the reason why this is slower than I would like it to be.

Still reading a ton

I reread Nicholas Carr’s fantastic book “The Shallows: What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains.”
