Recovering from a major medical episode

I spent three weeks in the hospital with a rare autoimmune disorder followed by two weeks of inpatient rehab. Now I’m doing outpatient rehab. I’m getting better every day but have a long, long road ahead.

Everything else is on pause.

Except for moving to a new house

Before I got sick, we bought a new house. Thankfully I’m doing a lot better but I still get tuckered out quite easily.

Reading and going to the movies

Given my lack of energy, I’ve been reading a lot and going to the movies. I’ll have been to three movies in theaters by the time June ends.

As for books, I just finished up Austin Kleon’s latest, Don’t Call It Art and Naomi Novik’s Uprooted. Both are worth your time.
